There is evidence that at the corners of each rectangular
rib pattern there were rosettes at one time. These rib
patterns were likely to have had the same treatment as on
the first floor. Recast and install rosettes (40
        rosettes).

There are various cracks on the flat areas of the
ceiling, some extending through the rib patterns.
        Reinforce and skim. Repoint ribs.

There are areas in the rib patterns that should be
reinforced. Reinforce loose ribs and repoint.

Both centerpieces have a chandelier canopy that are
inappropriate. The interior rose patterns has been
removed for them. Recommend removing canopies and
reinstalling interior roses, as on the first floor.

Cornice along West wall needs to be reinforced and
        pointed up.

Cornice on South wall above mirror needs to be pointed
        up.

Various chips and cracks need to be pointed up through
        out cornice.

The dimensions of the rectangular rib patterns are quite
odd. The Easternmost four are approx. 37"x76",
the four in the middle are 37"x61" and the
Westernmost four are 37"x51". A staircase
leading up to the third floor on the west side of the
        room would not explain this detail in itself;
